With NeoDash MCP, your AI assistant can read and interpret the data already centralized in NeoDash. This means you no longer need to export reports or manually cross-reference metrics. Security and permissions
The access is authorized through your own account and respects its permissions. The assistant only sees the data you already have access to on the platform, nothing more.
Setup
Connect your AI assistant to NeoDash in just a few steps and start querying your data right away. Here’s how:
Claude Setup
Click Customize in the side menu, then click Connectors. Next, click Add and then Add a custom connector.
A modal will open on the screen. Enter NeoDash MCP as the title and the remote MCP server URL https://mcp.neodash.ai/mcp. Then, click Continue.
On the next screen, scroll down until you see the Add button and click it. Then, on the following screen, click Connect to authorize the connection between Claude and NeoDash. On the authorization screen, click Agree and authorize access.
That’s it! The setup is complete, and Claude now has access to all NeoDash MCP tools and resources. To start using it, you can ask: “List the workspaces I have access to” or “List dashboards“.
By default, Claude requires approval to use all tools. This means that for every command sent, the assistant will request your authorization before proceeding. To change this setting, go to Connectors > NeoDash, click on Require approval and change it to Always allow.
ChatGPT Setup
MCP support is available only for ChatGPT Business and Enterprise/Edu customers. In addition, Developer Mode must be enabled for use. If your account does not meet these requirements, you will not be able to integrate with NeoDash MCP.
In your user settings, go to Apps and then click Create.
Enter the MCP Server URL https://mcp.neodash.ai/mcp, provide the other required information, and then select the authentication method, if applicable.
Click Verify tools and wait for the verification to complete. If the server uses OAuth, complete the authorization request and wait for the tool verification to finish. Then, click Create.
That’s it! The setup is complete, and ChatGPT now has access. The new app appears under Settings / Apps / Enabled apps with the Development label.

Frequently asked questions
I see “Unauthorized” or “No Bearer token provided” errors
Your MCP client needs to complete the OAuth flow. Try restarting the connection in your MCP client’s settings. If the issue persists, try removing and adding the NeoDash server again.
I authorized the connection, but my tools don’t return any data
Make sure the workspace has one or more data groups configured with at least one completed results import.
Metric data returns “no_data_in_period”
There may be no data available for the requested period. Try a different period, or check whether the platform account is still connected and active in NeoDash.
Metrics return the “expired_token” status
The OAuth token for that platform has expired in NeoDash. Log in to your NeoDash account and reconnect the integration to renew the token.
What data does the MCP server access?
The MCP server can access data from all workspaces you have access to in NeoDash, while respecting the permissions assigned to your user in each workspace.
Privacy Policy
Your data is protected. The MCP server only accesses data from your NeoDash account and does not share it with third parties. All communication is protected by encryption.
